Sitejet Builder is a drag-and-drop website builder built into cPanel. You choose a template (or let the AI generator draft one), edit it visually and publish it to your domain with one click, with no coding or WordPress needed. This guide shows how to open it, build your first site and publish it safely.

  • Applies to: Host Dada Sitejet Builder plans (cPanel)
  • Time: about 20 minutes for a first site
  • Difficulty: Beginner

Before you start

  • Sitejet Builder is included with Host Dada's Sitejet Builder plans. If you have ProFlex hosting and want a builder, ask us about adding it, or use WordPress with WP Toolkit.
  • Log in to cPanel from the Client Area: Services → your service → Log in to cPanel.
  • Your domain should point to your hosting so visitors can see the site once it's published.
Publishing replaces the files in your website folderWhen you publish, Sitejet writes the site into your domain's folder (usually public_html). If there's already a website there, Sitejet offers to create a restore point first. Accept it, or take a backup, so you can go back if needed.

Create your website

  1. Open Sitejet Builder. It's in the Domains section of cPanel. You can also type "Sitejet" into Search Tools.
  2. Start a new site. Choose the option to create a new website and pick the domain it's for. Or try the AI generator, which drafts a site from a short description of your business.
  3. Choose a template. Browse by business type and pick one that's close to what you want. Colours, fonts, text and images can all be changed.
  4. Edit your pages. Click any text or image on the page to change it. Use the side panels to add sections, pages and contact forms, and to set your logo, colours and fonts across the whole site.
  5. Check the mobile view. Switch the preview to mobile and tablet sizes and tidy anything that doesn't fit.
  6. Publish. Click the Publish button. Your site goes live at your domain.
Make changes laterOpen Sitejet Builder from cPanel any time, edit your site and click Publish again. Visitors only see your changes after you publish.

Good to know

  • One site per domain. Each Sitejet site needs its own domain or subdomain, and can't share a folder with another website.
  • Redirected domains can't be used for a Sitejet site. Remove the redirect in cPanel first.
  • robots.txt: publishing replaces a custom robots.txt. Save a copy first if you've made one.
  • Free SSL is added automatically once your domain points to your hosting. See Free SSL certificates (AutoSSL).
  • Email isn't part of Sitejet. See Email with ProFlex hosting for Microsoft 365 and Host Dada Email options.

Troubleshooting

I can't see Sitejet Builder in cPanel

It's only enabled on Sitejet Builder plans. Use Search Tools to check. If you think it should be there, open a ticket and tell us your domain.

Publishing fails

The most common cause is a full account. Check Disk Usage and free some space. Also check the domain isn't set up as a redirect.

My old website disappeared after publishing

Publishing replaces the files in your domain's folder. If you created a restore point, restore it from Sitejet. If not, open a ticket straight away and we'll restore your files from our backups.

Still stuck? Our UK support team is happy to help. Open a support ticket and tell us your domain name and what Sitejet Builder shows on screen.
