In order to get the Auth Code (also known as EPP codes or transfer keys) on Names.co please follow the steps below:

Transferring a .UK domain away from Namesco

1. Once logged in to your Control Panel, select your domain (if you have more than one) scroll to the bottom of the page and select Domain transfers.

2. In the centre of the screen, you will now see a number of options, the last of which is Change Nominet Tag - to transfer your domain away, select Click here to change the Nominet TAG within this section

3. You will now be presented with 2 boxes which you are required to complete before continuing the transfer process. Please enter the reason for transferring your domain away, and your new Registrars Nominet/IPS TAG - If you have not yet done so, you will need to obtain this from your new Registrar directly.

4. Once you have filled this information in, and select Update you will need to pay the £10 +VAT administration fee - we will then forward the transfer request on to your new provider. They must accept this request in order for the transfer to complete.

Transferring a .com .net .org .biz .info or .us domain away from Namesco

1. Once logged in to your Control Panel, select your domain (if you have more than one) scroll to the bottom of the page and select Domain transfers.

2. In the centre of the screen, you will now see a number of options, the last of which is Transfer domain away from Namesco - to transfer your domain away, select Click here to transfer your domain away from Namesco within this section

3. The final part of the process within the Online Control Panel, is to enter an Administration Email Address which you would like the Authorisation Code for your domain to be sent to. This must be entered in the field at the bottom of the screen, as you can see below

4. Once you press proceed, you will be required to pay a £10 +VAT administration fee in order for us to process the request. Once payment is confirmed, your domain will be unlocked, and our Domain Administration Specialists will send out the Authorisation Code for your domain. You must then pass this on to your new Registrar in order for them to take control of the domain name.
